Rumson Open Space and Affordable Housing, Inc

The fairness hearing has been adjourned to Monday June 22 at 10:30 am via Zoom. The participating parties will be ROSAH, the Borough, Yellow Brook, and FSHC. Additionally, all those who submitted letters (and even those who did not) will be permitted to testify, with the caveat that the Court has asked that members of ROSAH identify that they are members of ROSAH prior to testifying. 

Duplicative or redundant testimony will not be heard, consistent with the rules of court and evidence, whether from ROSAH members or non-ROSAH affiliated individuals.


The Court has directed that individuals (including ROSAH’s membership) will be permitted to view and listen to the proceedings via the Court’s Zoom system on , and will be permitted to call in and give their testimony at an appropriate time.

• We recommend that if you call in to be heard that you use a landline, or make sure your mobile phone is full charged ahead of the meeting. • The beginning of the meeting will consist of testimony from Yellow Brook, Fair Share Housing Center, Rumson Borough, and ROSAH • Once these parties have given testimony the public will have an opportunity to be heard. • Wait for the judge to advise when the public may call in and be heard before calling in. • Before you begin speaking turn your computer speaker volume to mute • To increase the size of the small court window hover your mouse over the right side. "Picture in picture" will pop up - click it. Then double click on the border around the edge of the window that pops out - this will increase the size to fit your entire monitor. • Make sure you click the "play" icon to view the active hearing. • If you minimize the window by pressing X in the top right you will need to repress the "play" icon to go back to live testimony.

If time runs out on Monday June 22 the hearing will carry over to Thursday July 9 at 9:00 am

In recognition of national Preservation Month, Preservation New Jersey (PNJ) announced its annual list of the 10 Most Endangered Historic Places in New Jersey at a virtual press conference on Thursday, May 14, 2019. PNJ was joined by the advocates for this year’s endangered historic places via a ZOOM rally to support New Jersey’s threatened cultural and architectural heritage. The Lauriston Estate - 91 Rumson Rd - was included as one of the 10 Most Endangered Historic Places in New Jersey
